Living in Littleton
Littleton is really several places sharing one mailing address. The City of Littleton has a walkable historic Main Street and light rail into downtown Denver. Around it, a Littleton address can mean an established neighborhood in Ken Caryl, Columbine or Dakota Ridge, or a brand-new home at the edge of the foothills.
Sterling Ranch is the newest of those places. It is a master-planned community in northwest Douglas County, set between Chatfield State Park and Roxborough State Park, with its own trails, fitness center, pool and clubhouse. Several national and regional builders are active here at once, which is why so many of Jaime's model-home tours are filmed in Sterling Ranch.

Homes
Resale homes range from 1970s and '80s two-stories in Ken Caryl and Columbine to newer builds throughout Douglas County. In Sterling Ranch you will find everything from attached townhomes to large single-family plans, and Jaime's tours here range from new townhomes to single-family homes above $1.2 million.
Schools
Sterling Ranch and Roxborough are served by Douglas County School District. Most of the City of Littleton is served by Littleton Public Schools, and Ken Caryl, Columbine and Dakota Ridge are in Jeffco Public Schools. Always confirm boundaries for a specific address.
Getting around
Roughly 30 to 45 minutes to downtown Denver depending on the neighborhood and traffic. Light rail runs from the Mineral and Littleton·Downtown stations.
Outdoors
Chatfield State Park is known for its reservoir, trails and summer hot-air balloon launches. Roxborough State Park has some of the most striking red sandstone formations on the Front Range.

Is Sterling Ranch in Littleton?
Sterling Ranch homes carry a Littleton mailing address, but the community sits in unincorporated northwest Douglas County, between Chatfield and Roxborough State Parks. That affects things like schools (Douglas County School District) and property taxes.
