Living in Cherry Creek
Cherry Creek sits about three miles southeast of downtown Denver, along the creek that gives it its name. Cherry Creek North is a walkable, 16-block district of independent boutiques, galleries, salons and restaurants, anchored by the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and a growing collection of boutique hotels and modern residences.
Around it are some of Denver’s most established residential neighborhoods: the Country Club Historic District, Congress Park, Hilltop, Belcaro, Bonnie Brae and Washington Park, with tree-lined streets, parks and a wide range of architecture. Jaime is based here, so this is the part of Denver he knows street by street.

Schools
The Cherry Creek neighborhood is part of Denver Public Schools, not the Cherry Creek School District, which serves Aurora, Centennial and Greenwood Village. DPS combines neighborhood boundaries with a school-choice enrollment process, so confirm assignments for any specific address.
Getting around
About 10 to 15 minutes to downtown and about 20 minutes to the Denver Tech Center via I-25, depending on traffic. Denver International Airport is roughly 30 to 40 minutes away.
Outdoors
The Cherry Creek Trail runs along the creek from downtown’s Confluence Park out toward Cherry Creek State Park. Cheesman Park, the Denver Botanic Gardens and Washington Park are all a short bike ride away.

No. The Cherry Creek neighborhood is in the City and County of Denver and is served by Denver Public Schools. The Cherry Creek School District is a separate district serving parts of Aurora, Centennial, Greenwood Village and other southeast-metro communities. Always confirm school assignments for a specific address.
