Denver is a city of neighborhoods, and the right one depends on how you want to live. Cherry Creek and the neighborhoods around it put you near shopping, dining and parks. Washington Park and Platt Park are close to lakes, gardens and South Pearl Street. It depends on commute, budget and the kind of house you want. Cherry Creek and the nearby neighborhoods offer walkability and established homes, Washington Park and Platt Park have character homes near parks, the Highlands put you closest to downtown, and southeast Denver offers more yard for the money. Do Denver neighborhoods have their own school districts?
